Sliding Scale Therapy
I offer a sliding scale option for clients who are experiencing financial hardship. The sliding scale ranges from $75-$130 per session, depending on your situation, and is available for up to 3 months. After that, we will reassess together to determine if continuing at the same rate is feasible or if adjustments need to be made.
Please note that spots for sliding scale therapy are limited, so if you're interested, it’s best to reach out soon. My goal is to make therapy accessible, and we can discuss the best approach for you based on your financial situation and needs. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need more information.
Insurance
While I do not currently offer direct billing to insurance providers, I provide a detailed receipt for each session, which most clients find straightforward and easy to submit to their insurance provider for reimbursement.
If you are unable to submit directly to your insurance provider, we can explore alternative options together to ensure you receive the support you need.
You should always check with your insurance company to confirm whether psychotherapy services are covered, and to understand the amount they will reimburse.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to know about confidentiality, and are there limitations?
Your privacy is a top priority. Everything you share in our sessions remains confidential, except in certain situations where I am legally required to disclose information, such as: If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others If a court orders the release of information If there is a disclosure of abuse or neglect involving a child or vulnerable adult I understand that it can be difficult to trust someone with personal details, and I want to reassure you that your information is always safeguarded. If you ever have questions about confidentiality, I’m here to talk through them with you.
What is informed consent, and why is it important?
Informed consent means that you fully understand what to expect from therapy, including the goals of treatment, confidentiality, and your rights as a client. Before starting therapy, I’ll provide you with an informed consent form outlining these details. This ensures that we’re on the same page and that you feel comfortable with the therapy process. You are always in control of what you choose to share. My role is to create a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, and I will always respect your boundaries.
I've heard of insurance companies asking for information to process claims, what does that mean?
If you’re using insurance to help pay for therapy, the insurance company may ask for a treatment or progress summary to process your claim. I will never share any information with your insurance company without your explicit consent. If this situation arises, we will discuss it together, and I’ll ensure you understand what is being shared before any information is sent.
How often should I come to therapy?
Research suggests that weekly sessions are ideal for building momentum, fostering consistent progress, and creating lasting change. Regular sessions allow us to address challenges in a focused way while developing and practicing skills between meetings. That said, how often you come to therapy is entirely up to you and your unique needs. Some clients start with weekly sessions and move to biweekly or monthly as they meet their goals, while others prefer to begin with less frequent sessions. We'll work together to find what works best for you.
Can I switch to less frequent sessions as I progress?
Yes! Once you’ve made progress and feel ready, we can discuss reducing the frequency of sessions to fit your evolving needs. Many clients find that after working through initial challenges, they’re able to maintain progress with less frequent sessions. We’ll work together to determine when and how to adjust the frequency to best support you.
